Join D.C. Metro alumni for a National Building Museum tour (featuring The BEACH)! The National Building Museum is America’s leading cultural institution devoted to the history and impact of the built environment by telling the stories of architecture, engineering, and design.The Museum is one of the most family-friendly, awe-inspiring spots in Washington, D.C.

Chuck Pleeger, husband of Shari Pfleeger ’70, LHD ’00 will lead a building tour in addition to highlighting three exhibits: Hot to Cold, Designing for Disaster and House and Home.

Afterwards, you may enjoy The BEACH, an “ocean” of nearly one million recyclable translucent plastic balls spanning across the Museum’s Great Hall!!
