Join Vice Provost Loewen for a campus update and alumni gathering
Wednesday, Nov. 4
6 to 7:30 p.m.
At the home of Dr. Lori ’87 and Marc ’87 Ben-Ezra
5810 SW 33rd Lane
Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
As one of our highly engaged alumni, we invite you to an exciting opportunity to connect with and meet Binghamton University’s Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Enrollment Donald Loewen, along with fellow Fort Lauderdale-area alumni.
Donald began his career at Binghamton in 2001 as a faculty member in the Department of German and Russian Studies and was named Vice Provost in 2010. In this role, he works closely with the faculty masters in the University’s residential communities, Binghamton University Scholars Program, the Center for Learning and Teaching, Office of External Scholarship, the Undergraduate Research Center, and provides overall direction for the University’s undergraduate enrollment initiatives. He will discuss some of Binghamton’s innovative new efforts in undergraduate education, including revolutionary new learning spaces, quick pathways to authentic research experiences for incoming freshmen, exciting and engaging academic initiatives in the University’s residential colleges, and also provide updates on some of the University’s other new projects as well as the challenges that the University faces in a changing higher education landscape.
This is a complimentary event graciously hosted by Dr. Lori ’87 and Marc ’87 Ben-Ezra. Light refreshments will be provided. We ask that you register online prior to Friday, Oct. 30. If you have any questions, contact the Alumni Relations office at 607-777-2424 or [email protected].
We hope you are able to join us at this event to learn about what’s happening on campus and connect with other alumni in the area.
