Don’t miss an opportunity to network with other alumni in an amazing venue. The museum houses six floors of galleries showcasing Buddhist and Hindu fine art from the Himalayan region. Enjoy Himalayan happy hour foods such as exotic bread samplers, momos (chicken and vegetarian), and three-cheese and Tandoori chicken pizzas. Hang out in the cool K2 Lounge and enjoy live music. Don’t forget to get there early and reserve your spot on one of our privately guided tours of the gallery!

The admission price of $20/person includes a game ticket in the Pepsi Porch section, refreshments for two hours, and light appetizers. This will be a family-friendly event.

Meet with Boston-area alumni on Oct. 24

Dear fellow Binghamton University alumni,

On Wednesday, Oct. 24, I invite you to come join other Binghamton University alumni for a soccer game and pre-game reception. We’ll meet, starting at 5:30 p.m. for appetizers at T’s Pub, located at 973 Commonwealth Ave., in Boston. Appetizers are complimentary, courtesy of your Alumni Association.

After the reception, we can walk together to the Binghamton University men’s soccer game vs. the other BU (Boston University, of course) at 7 p.m. Local alumna Katherine Hasenauer Cornetta ’04 has arranged discounted $2 tickets for anyone who tells the ticket booth that they are with Binghamton. Please come for one or both events – and wear green! Go Bearcats!

On behalf of the Alumni Association, I’m pleased to invite you to a special event at Family Weekend. Please join us at the Alumni Legacy Family Lunch, which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 27, from noon to 2 p.m., at Old Union Hall.

This event is for moms, dads, aunts, uncles, or siblings of a current student who are also graduates of our University. You can enjoy delicious food and meet our Alumni Relations staff as well as other legacy families. Our delicious buffet will feature hot and cold food, including some fall-themed fare such as house salad with ranch and apple cider vinaigrette, roasted butternut squash with cranberries, Dutch apple pie and pumpkin cheesecake. Your cost is only $5 per person. Your current Binghamton University student and children 5 and under will be our guests.

Meet our coaches at a special breakfast

Please join us at a special breakfast on campus, where you can meet coaches of our Bearcats athletic squads. Patrick Elliott, director of athletics, will be the featured speaker at this event. In addition, men’s and women’s basketball coaches, Tommy Dempsey and Nicole Scholl, will address our guests.

All of our coaches will be invited to attend this event, and they will be serving as table hosts. The coaches look forward to meeting you, talking about the great work our student-athletes are doing in competition and in the classroom, and answering your questions.
