Greetings, fellow Korean Binghamton University Alumni!!!
In all the years of our University’s existence, and with all the Koreans who have graduated since, Binghamton Alumni of Korean descent have yet to tap into the greatest resources available – each other.
Please join us at the first ever Korean Binghamton alumni mixer at Manhattan Brew House (354 3rd Ave., Manhattan – between 25th & 26th streets in Kips Bay) from 6 to 10 p.m., on Wednesday, May 21.
This pioneering occasion will provide an opportunity for any Korean graduate from Binghamton to come together, forge new bonds, strengthen old ones, and unify our resources and successes in uplifting the Binghamton-Korean community residing in New York City.
Strength resides within unity.
Our fellow Korean graduates in New York City now work in every professional and creative industry imaginable. From finance, to medicine, politics, education and art, a platform is necessary in order to first acknowledge one another, then unify in order to serve and strengthen the Binghamton-Korean community.
Please join us for cocktails and a chance to meet and greet other Korean alumni. There is no cost to attend, but we ask that you please register online. Our event is graciously sponsored by the Binghamton University Alumni Association.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. I look forward to seeing you on the 21st!
Regards,
James Kim ’99

Long Island Networking and Class of 2014 Welcome Event
Tuesday, June 3
6:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Woodbury Country Club
884 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury
We are pleased to invite you to an event where you can network with other Binghamton University alumni who live and/or work on Long Island. Our chapter’s initial networking event, held in January at the Huntington Yacht Club, was very well attended, and we have been constantly hearing that our chapter should offer more events on the Island.
This event will be a great opportunity to expand your professional network. In addition, we are inviting new graduates in order to welcome them back from Binghamton and into the Long Island community. If you are particularly interested in advising our new graduates, please indicate this when you register for the event. Mentors and new grads will have special name tags so they can easily find each other at the event. Sharing your perspectives with young people entering the working world is a good way to give back to Binghamton.
In short, why should you attend our event?
* Meet other Binghamton alumni on Long Island
* Build your personal and professional network
* Provide support to new Binghamton alumni and current graduate students
* Hire your next employee
* Learn how you can stay connected to Binghamton as a volunteer
The cost of the event is $20/person for alumni and graduate students, and we offer a special price of $15/person for members of the Class of 2014. The price includes hors d’oeuvres, cold display, four Italian stations, pasta bar, ice cream bar and one drink ticket (cash bar afterward). We’ll be in an amazing venue with an outdoor patio.
Please register online prior to Tuesday, May 27. We cannot offer refunds after the registration deadline. Although the country club does not have a dress code, business attire is strongly recommended.
If you have any questions, please contact the Alumni Relations office at 607-777-2424 or [email protected].
