THE 12 and reception with Neil Berg ’86 – Denver
Mar 29 @ 20:30 – 23:00

Join us for an afternoon at the theater to see THE 12 followed by a gathering with Neil Berg ’86

Sunday, March 29
1:30 p.m.
The Stage Theater
Denver Center for the Performing Arts
Speer Boulevard & Arapahoe Street

Post-show Gathering at The Corner Office Restaurant and Bar
1401 Curtis St.

Join Denver-area alumni at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts to see THE 12. The music and lyrics for this musical were written by composer and lyricist Neil Berg ’86. He collaborated on this musical with Pulitzer Prize and TONY Award winning playwright, Robert Schenkkan (All The Way, The Kentucky Cycle), who wrote the book and was the co-lyricist.

THE 12 rises up where the iconic rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar leaves off: Just after the crucifixion of Jesus that left his closest friends and followers facing powerful crises of faith. THE 12 takes one of the most powerful stories in history and explores one of the least known and most intriguing aspects of it: what happens when 12 ordinary individuals are torn apart by the unthinkable death of their leader. This story of fear, doubt, faith and, ultimately, of love is brought to life using a classic rock score inspired by some of the greatest rock and roll bands in history. Learn more about the musical.

After the show, Neil Berg ’86 will be joining the group for an informal meet and greet at The Corner Office Restaurant and Bar (located across the street from the theater complex) where he can answer questions about the show and provide insight into the experience of developing a musical. Light appetizers and a complimentary drink will be provided by the Alumni Association at the meet and greet.

Tickets for the show for our group are $40/person. Seats are located in Section 4, rows F, G and H starting with the seat closest to the center aisle. In order to receive this discounted rate, please purchase your ticket online by Friday, Feb. 13. Registration will allow you to also purchase a ticket for one guest. If you have any questions, please contact the Alumni Relations office at 607-777-2424 or [email protected].

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be granted to those who call the Binghamton University Alumni Relations office at 607-777-2424 on or before Feb. 13.

Tickets will be available for pick-up at the will call window prior to the show.
