Annual Networking Happy Hour

There is no admission fee, but we ask that you register for this event, so we know to expect you. Light appetizers will be provided; cash bar, with happy hour drink specials, is also available.

Washington Nationals Baseball Game vs. New York Mets

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online.

Our group will be seated in section 107. Game tickets are limited to the first 40 people. There will be a pre-game mixer, starting at 5:30 p.m., at Half Street Fairgrounds (look for the Binghamton University signs and balloons). Tickets must be picked up at Half Street Fairgrounds before 6:30 p.m.

Dean Jones will be providing a brief update on Binghamton University’s new SUNY2020 Energy Initiative and recent activities in Harpur College. Chemistry students and faculty will be hosting a poster session, and will be available to discuss their cutting-edge research.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and cash bar will be available. There is no registration fee, but advanced registration is requested. Alumni registered by August 15 will receive a complimentary beverage coupon.

We need to cancel the Alumni Association’s event on Tuesday evening. President Stenger has been summoned by the Governor to present a status report on the Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council in Albany and then attend a private reception at the Governor’s mansion.

The Alumni Association will reschedule another event at a future date. Unfortunately, it won’t be before our incoming students return to campus. We sincerely apologize on behalf of President Stenger.

OPTION 1: WITH Charter Bus – $45/alumni, $55/guest
* Charter bus leaves from University Parking Lot E (East Gym) at 8 a.m. sharp and returns at approximately 10 p.m.
* Entry to the race track.
* Hot and cold buffet from noon to 3 p.m. at the Carousel, located on the second floor of the Clubhouse. The Carousel is equipped with televisions and betting window, and overlooks the picnic area of Saratoga Race Course.
* Upgrade your seating to Grandstand Reserved seating for $9/seat. Grandstand Reserved seating is just steps away and is subject to availability.

OPTION 2: WITHOUT Charter Bus – $40/alumni, $45/guest
* Includes all the benefits above without the charter bus. Those who wish to drive to the race track can pick up their tickets at Will Call (located at the Clubhouse entrance on Wright Street) beginning at 11:30 a.m., and then join the group at the Carousel.
* Upgrade your seating to Grandstand Reserved seating for $9/seat. Grandstand Reserved seating is just steps away and is subject to availability.

Burgers and hot dogs and speidies will be provided. Please bring a dish to pass! See more information about this event on Facebook, and let us know you’re coming. Look for green balloons, which will be used to indicate where we will meet.
