We invite you to join us on June 9 to kick off summer and celebrate the two-year anniversary of our re-launched Metro New York Chapter. Additionally, we will welcome members of the Class of 2015 into the Alumni Association and our chapter.
The cost of the event is $35/person (special price of $15 for Class of 2015 grads) and includes hors d’oeuvres and open bar. Please register online for this event by Tuesday, June 3. This event sells out quickly, so we encourage you to register now since space is limited. Please note that we cannot issue refunds if you need to cancel after the registration deadline. Greater Binghamton Chapter Class of 2015 Welcome Event

The Greater Binghamton Chapter is excited to host an event for the new graduates who are from the area and/or plan to stay in the area. We invite you to join us for a summer evening of food, drinks and networking on the patio overlooking the Chenango river in downtown Binghamton. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet other alumni and officially welcome our newest graduates into the Alumni Association.

The cost of this event is just $15/person for alumni and guests and $10 for members of the Class of 2015. The event will include assorted hors d’oeuvres, carving station and one drink ticket (a cash bar will also be available for additional drinks).

Tickets are $27 and can be purchased online. Our group will be seated in section 107. Our game tickets are limited to the first 20 people. There will be a pre-game mixer, starting at 5:30 p.m., at Half Street Fairgrounds (look for the Binghamton University signs and balloons). Tickets must be picked up at Half Street Fairgrounds before 6:30 p.m.

Tickets for each class are $10/person, and can be purchased online. This price includes any necessary equipment. All facilities for showering are on premises, so you can continue your day in Manhattan. We will be meeting for healthy refreshments at 3 p.m. at a location to be determined. Bring a friend! Please note that the maximum number of participants for the class is 25, so register early to guarantee your spot.

We invite you to participate in a bus trip to New York City on Sunday, July 26 to see the musical “Foolerie”. It is a Shakespearean Musical Comedy with books, music and lyrics by Endicott native and Binghamton University alumnus Santino DeAngelo ’13. “Foolerie” will be staged as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival and was among the 10 entries chosen from more than 200 musicals submitted from around the world.
Come be an invited guest of the Great Earl in this exclusive chance to meet Clowne, the most infamous jester of the age, and his traveling troop of fools as they employ madcap madness and musical comedy in their desire to divert you! Wits will be battled, entendres will be doubled, and art itself shall be put on trial in this wacky powerhouse of cross-dressing, mistaken identity, true love, and pure, unadulterated, foolerie. A comedic send-up of Shakespearean proportions, Foolerie is your chance to be foolish or be fooled!
The bus will depart at 7:30 a.m. from the Shafer Plaza in Endicott (500 North St.) and arrive at the Pearl Theater in Manhattan (555 W. 42 St.) at 11:30 a.m. in time for the noon show. After the show, the Alumni Association will host a reception nearby with Santino and some of the cast members. The bus will leave Manhattan at 7:30 p.m., and return back to Endicott.
Only 56 spots are available; the cost is $65 per person (which includes the bus and the show), and there will be light refreshments on the bus down and back. To register or ask questions, e-mail [email protected]. Payments are by check or cash only.
The 2015 tournament will be held on Friday, July 31 at The Links at Hiawatha Landing in Apalachin, N.Y. On the 31st, check-in will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the course and the tournament will have a shotgun start of 12:30 p.m. for 18 holes of captain-and-crew golf with a cart. The tournament will include great prizes and contests including hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest drive and a putting contest to name a few. Register now to secure your spot!
Registration is now open for the 2015 tournament and is limited to the first 36 teams that sign up.
A foursome in the tournament is $560 and includes golf, lunch, beverages on course, registration giveaways and dinner reception. We know that our BOLD alumni have unique interests, goals and aspirations. As co-chairs of the local alumni chapter, we are excited to host programs and events that suit you. In fact, we have an event coming this month.
Your Alumni Association’s Greater Binghamton Chapter is excited to invite you to an exclusive networking event in partnership with the Southern Tier Young Professionals (STYP) group at Social on State on July 30. This event will be an opportunity for you to meet other BOLD alumni in the area as well as members of STYP. The event will be held on the patio, or indoors if it rains, and food and drink specials will be offered. BOLD alumni are encouraged to register here. All who register will receive a gift at the event. You may also wish to join our Facebook event to see who else will be attending.
There is no cost to attend, but we ask that you please register online so we know to expect you. This will be the second BOLD-specific event in the area, with others on the horizon.
