Professor Alvin Vos, Faculty Master of Hinman College, will be in town later this month and would love to catch up with you. Please join us an an afternoon Faculty Tea on Sunday, Jan. 13 at 3:30 p.m., at Lyon Hall, followed by a Dutch-treat dinner at Liberty Tavern in Arlington (Clarendon Metro) at 5:30. Come see us at one or both events!

Appetizers at the Faculty Tea will be provided by the Alumni Association D.C. Metro chapter. Beverages of choice (coffee, tea, wine, beer, etc) will be Dutch treat.

Meet with Binghamton University alumni at the closing reception for the multimedia exhibition of new art titled “Informal Economy.” Artists will be happy to talk with you and answer any of your questions. While viewing these compelling works of art, you can enjoy music, hors d’oeuvres and wine from alumni vintners. All alumni who attend will receive a Binghamton University gift.

The following alumni are presenting works in this exhibition: Robert Fundis ’01, Amanda Kates ’02, Michael Lieberman ’04, Melissa Mischke, Brian Murphy ’08, John Ros ’00, Zach Seeger ’01 and Andy Stevens ’88.

Shake the winter blues at the biggest on-campus alumni event of the season! Wear your Binghamton green and join us for the men’s game, women’s game, or both. Meet with friends — and make new ones — at our indoor tailgate party. We’ll have a BBQ buffet ($20 – register in advance), concession fare at reduced prices, DJ, giveaways, kids’ games and live entertainment. Players, coaches and spirit squads will make appearances at the party. This event will be fun for the whole family!

We are offering special ticket prices to alumni and guests:
Women’s basketball game:
* $3 bench seats (full price is $6); $6 chair-back (full price is $8)

Men’s basketball game:
* $4 bench seats (full price is $8); $10 chair-back (full price is $12)

Admission to the indoor tailgate party is free; however, online registration is required by Monday, Feb. 4. To purchase basketball tickets and register for the tailgate, please visit the Winter Madness website. Refunds for the BBQ or ticket purchases will not be granted after the registration deadline.
