Binghamton University will be proud to host Eric Schwartz ’79 – a public policy expert and former White House and United Nations advisor – for a very special event at the Anderson Center on Monday, September 30. Eric will speak about topics of high interest in world politics, and will be happy to take questions from guests in attendance. Our event is free and open to the public.

During his illustrious 25-year career in public service, his positions have included U.S. assistant secretary of state for population, refugees and migration; UN deputy special envoy for tsunami recovery; and senior director and special assistant to the president for multilateral and humanitarian affairs. In 2011, he was named dean of the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Policy at the University of Minnesota.

This event is co-sponsored by Dorm Room Diplomacy, the Binghamton University Alumni Association and the Department of Political Science. Dorm Room Diplomacy is a campus-based organization that fosters intercultural dialogue between students in the United States, Middle East and North Africa.
